Slacking Off
Well not a very good week for me this week........
As you know, I swapped Monday's training for Tuesday's night off. Still on Track then, but Wednesday nights training was then traded in for a Pearl Jam concert. I was not & am not disappointed with myself though as I have not been out in a while so deserved a night out. Except with a night out comes drink & a late night, so regardless that I spent yesterday in bed reading, rather than working, I was still quite tired (or lazy more like) & only managed half of my run. Very bold of me I know.
Now Phil will tell you that I am a woman of many excuses but seriously, I don't think it helped last night that I was wearing a new sports top that gave too much support to by chest & actually restricted my breathing while doing so. .......I don't care what you say Philip, you don't know how much harder we women have have it :oP
Anyway, Phil & I have 10 miles to run this Sunday. I know that I am going to suffer from my 1 & a half days training this week, instead of 3 days training. Phil won't let me off lightly either & will probably drag me around the course by my ear if he has to.
The heat is on.
